TIME FOR A FALL PALETTE

October 29th, 2009 by CDM Florist

It certainly is fall at Corona del Mar Florist.  We can’t help ourselves — we just love all the flowers that are in season now.  So many of our arrangements this week have taken on the hues of crimson, gold, burnt sienna with touches of fall Maple leaves and berries for added texture!

With the cool, crisp days coming to the beach area we’ve dressed up our shop to mimic a Woodland theme with our spindly birch tree “Woods” wallpaper, our gorgeous ceramic faux tree stump vases, and the cutest animal critters you’d see if you took a day hike in the woods.

Enjoy!

Until next time . . .

We’re thrilled to have been chosen by the Corona del Mar Chamber of Commerce for the Business Beautification award.  Not only is the storefront beautiful, but the interior is just as darling!  We’d love to have our community stop by “to smell the roses”…

Corona del Mar Florist Goes Social!

October 8th, 2009 by CDM Florist

What started out a couple years ago as a fun part-time job at the local flower shop in charming Corona del Mar has turned into something more exciting than I ever imagined.  I fell in love with the flower business, especially my darling little shop.  With a few new and exciting changes that I envisioned, all of us here at Corona del Mar Florist have been very busy the last few years.  So here we go again, joining the social network scene.

I welcome you to our blog where the staff and I invite you to share our enthusiasm about the beauty of flowers. Here you’ll find a mixture of trends, happenings, and our pure delight in our wonderful flower creations.
Visit us often and, please, share your thoughts and comments.
All of this excitement to share wouldn’t be possible without my talented and gifted staff, the support of my family, and most importantly, the love and guidance from the two main men in my life – my wonderful dad Pete, and my loving husband Chris.
Until next time . . .
